Carol Bryant takes her inspiration from African wildlife - mostly big cats. Her work includes cheetah, leopard, lion, serval and caracal lynx, and also the African wild dog (also known as the painted wolf). She has studied these animals extensively in the wild in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Namibia, and in captivity at conservations centres in South Africa and Namibia.

She has worked as a volunteer with cheetah and wild dog at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre - De Wildt at Hartbeespoort near Pretoria, South Africa.

Carol started her studies at Sunningwell School of Art in Oxfordshire, and has studied more recently with Rosamund de Tracy Kelly ARBS at her studio in Chesterton, Oxfordshire.
